The page has been steadily growing with free bedrock add-on’s developed by people, the new addition here will be the ability to upload your own creations and share them with others on the site.

This will be available from the creators corner to either use for new add-on’s to film with or simply have fun with.

Free Profile Page

Another exiting feature that will be added but is also under development is the free page/profile maker. Allowing you to have a page up on this website to share your socials, videos or even plugins and mods.

Create a profile using one of the free themes and have all your links in one place. Saving time when having to add all your socials separately in the description to your video, best of all there are lots of free templates to choose from.

Recording & Editing Help

This is a service that is new and cant yet be found on here. This will be somewhere that gives you all the best free resources and links to get started with your content creating or help develop your skills!

Free Minecraft Pictures

This is another free tool you can use already, but it is in development. Its is a library of Minecraft pictures you can download and use for free, these can be sued for thumbnails, videos or even your websites to help you grow! They are copyright free and as such belong to Minecraft which is happy for their fans to share screen shots. So make sure to stay within Minecraft’s rules of their image use and your fine to use them anywhere! (Non-commercially)

Another way to try and keep people safe using these images is that they will all be under the creative commons license by myself so you can be sure they dont get copyrighted elsewhere.

How ever to keep things spicy I wanted to challenge myself to see if something is possible. So in this video i will be trying to run my £200 amazon voucher into £2000 by trying any method (legal of course) to see if I can hustle my way up to £2000.

What Does The Origins Mod Do?

By installing Minecraft Origins mod your able to start of and keep a super power through out your Minecraft world. There range from arachnid climbing features. To flying and other cool powers you can use. Be careful though as some might turn out to become problematic to you later in the game.

In this article you will find out how to install it and all about the abilities your able to choose. Ill have a list of pros and cons for each ability so you can make a wise choice before starting your game with the Minecraft origins mod.

What Is Needed to Run The Origins Mod

It runs on a Fabric 1.16.5 jar. It will also need the Fabric API mod installed. We will be using the CurseForge Installer rather than doing it manually, as its a much more stable and working method to run mods on CurseForge.

How to Install Minecraft Origins Mod Guide

1. Install the CurseForge App on your PC.
2. Once downloaded, follow the installation instructions and sign in using your Mojang Account or your Microsoft account if you have migrated.
3. Choose Minecraft form the main menu.
4. Click on Create Custom Profile on the top right of the app.
5. Name your profile, choose version 1.16.5, choose Fabric and tap create.
6. Now find the puzzle piece icon under play (add more content) and use the search bar to look for origins, then install it.
   The Fabric API mod that is needed already comes installed with the Fabric installation.
7. With the origins mod installed and fabric already installed its just a case of pressing play on your profile and loading up the game.
   

Playing Origins Mod Minecraft

Now that you have downloaded and installed the origins mod. You can log in and create a new world.

At the start you will get given a choice of what power you wish to choose. These will give you a beneficial effect as well as a less beneficial effect to go with it. For instance with the Enderian power, you an teleport like a enderman, but your also susceptible to water and it will deal damage to you.

What Powers Can You Choose in The Origins Mod

Human Origins Ability

If you wish to not choose any super powers then simply choose human. No positive or negative effect will be given to you and you can continue your game as normal. This is best for servers where not everyone wants to play with that mod. They can choose not too.#

Arachnid Origins Ability

Pros

You can climb any walls like a spider, travel through cobweb easily and when you hit an opposing player they get stuck in cobwebs.

Cons

You are a carnivore so you can only eat meat. You are also much more fragile and get 3 less hearts than normal.

Avian Origins Ability

Pros

You get feather falling so dont get hurt from falling impact. Every morning you wake up, you lay an egg. Your a little bit quicker on foot than other meaning you can get away if needed whilst they cant keep up.

Cons

When sleeping your best must be at least 86 blocks up in the air for you to be able to breath fresh air. As a vegetarian you will no longer be able to digest meat.

Blazeborn Origins Ability

Pros

You get fire immunity, descended from the nether you need to be able to explore safely. If you are on fire you deal addition attack damage to others. Due to your hot body you are immune to poison and hunger issues that other players might face.

Cons

Your natural spawn will now be the nether, so get used to it. Your going to be spending a lot of time there. Being a blazeborn means that water will deal damage to you if it gets in contact.

Elytrian Origins Anility

Pros

You have elytra wings wiht out having to equip any. Every 30 seconds you are able to launch up 20 blocks in the air. You deal much more damage in an elytra fight.

Cons

You cant wear any protection higher than chain mail. If you find yourself in a confined area for too long you will become weaker and slower. You also take more damage from flying or falling into blocks.

Feline Origins Ability

Pros

No fall damage is received, no matter how far the fall. You can jump higher whilst sprinting. Creepers are scared of you and will only explode if attacked by you. You can slightly see in the dark when not in water.

Cons

You get 1 less heart than humans. You can only mine natural stone if there are 2 other natural stone blocks adjacent to it.

Merling Origins Ability

Pros

You can breath underwater. Your vision underwater is perfect. Your able to break blocks underwater like others can on land. Water speed is also increased. Underwater you do not sink unless you choose too.

Cons

You cant breath whilst out of the water. (Big Con)

Phantom Origins Ability

Pros

Your skin appears translucent. Whilst in your phantom form you can go through blocks (except obsidian). When in your phantom form you are also invisible.

Cons

You begin to burn in the day light, unless your invisible. Extra hunger leading to hunger bar going down quicker. You also have 3 less hearts than humans.

Shulk Origins Ability

Pros

You have an additional 9 inventory slots that get kept even after death. No need for armour when you skin provided natural protection. You can break natural stones with out the use of pickaxe with your strong hands.

Cons

Due to your hand shape you cant hold a shield upright. You exhaust much faster than others meaning you need to eat more.

Random Origins Ability

Not able to make the decision yourself? You also have a random option which will give you a random pick of one of the above abilities to play with. Careful though as this ability will stay with you untill the end.

Conclusion

This is a super fun modpack with lots of quirks. I can image this would be perfect for a Minecraft server where you can play with your friends and experience all the benefits of multiple abilities. Perhaps even a super hero server?

Introduction to Minecraft Fishing Rods

Fishing rods in Minecraft are an amazing item due to its amazing features. So before we get in to how to make a fishing rod in Minecraft lets first briefly explain some of the great things you can do with it.

With its random chance of either catching fish or any other items, fishing can turn out very lucky. As the items range from puffer fish to salmon or even enchanted armour. It may pay off spending a bit of time on the shore sitting back and catching some items.

Of course the main use of catching fish is also a great way of collecting items to eat in potentially quite barren lands. Create a small campfire where your fishing and you can cook them all up in no time.

Items Needed to Make a Fishing Rod in Minecraft

As with anything in Minecraft lets go through the items needed to make a fishing rod. Like many other useful items it only actually consists of very basic ingredients.

• 3 Sticks
• 2 String
  To Craft or Enchant
• 1 Crafting Table
• Anvil for Enchanting (Optional)

Where to Find Items For a Fishing Rod

Sticks

Sticks are the easiest of the two items. Simply find your nearest tree and by breaking the leaves you will eventually get some sticks fall down.

Alternatively if you break the tree down and use a crafting table. You can then create sticks from the wood.

String

You can get string from a few places so we will list them underneath.

• Spider Drops when killed
• Breaking Cobwebs
• Fishing

• Cat Drops when killed
• Breaking Tripwires in Jungle Temples

Anvil

If your planning to make a fishing rod in Minecraft you may as well enchant it! To do this, create an anvil, you will need 3 Iron Blocks and 3 Iron Ingots placed into a crafting table.

How to Make a Fishing Rod in Minecraft

Crafting is simple for this one and can be done almost at the start of a new game in a new world. To make a fishing rod in Minecraft you place the Sticks in a diagonal line from the bottom left to the top right of the crafting table slots.

Now add the string in the two blocks under the top right stick to create a fishing rod. Simply place in your inventory and your ready to go fishing.

How to Use a Fishing Rod in Minecraft

To use a fishing rod you will need to find some water (bigger than a few blocks) and right click or use your action button on the water depending what device your using.

You will see its thrown a line out and you have a bobble in the water where you have cast your fishing rod. This will bobble up and down gently for several seconds.

Eventually you will see lighter blue bubbles zig zagging toward your bobble. At the point it touches your bobble and it goes deeper into the water, you want to right click or use your action button to reel it back.

You will have the item caught and some experience levels thrown back at you. So adding the enchantment Mending after you make the fishing rod will make your fishing rod last forever. So keep it safe! You can even pop it in a item frame to sit next to your favourite Minecraft painting.

What Items Can You Catch After You Make a Fishing Rod 

It is split up in to three categories. This is Fish, Junk or Treasure. The names are fairly self explanatory, fish will range from salmon to puffer fish. Junk can consist of many items including old boots, lily pads string and other fairly useless items. Treasures can be really good, although a lower chance of getting these items its worth waiting for them as they can prove handy.

These can include enchanted fishing rods, armour, weapons, other enchanted items and a large variety of items considered as treasures due to their uses.

What Enchants Work With Fishing Rods

There are a few useful enchants you can add to your fishing rod to make it super powered. From healing itself to getting extra luck for enchanted items. Its worth investing some in to making a Minecraft fishing rod and enchanting it.

What Else You Can Use Fishing Rods For

Carrot on a Stick

When making a fishing rod in Minecraft you can also add a carrot in to the mix to create a carrot on a stick. This has one primary use and its to ride saddled pigs.

By placing a saddle on a pig you can control its movement by dangling your carrot the direction you want the pig to run.

Warped Fungus on a Stick

Yet another way to travel with out a horse. Genius! This time for the nether, you can add a warped fungus to the crafting table when learning how to make a fishing rod in Minecraft. You can now use this on a saddled Strider to ride across lava by dangling the warped fungus the direction you want the Strider to go.

Introduction on How to Make a Painting In Minecraft

Paintings are a great item when decorating the inside of your Minecraft house. The beauty of Minecraft is the versatility of all the blocks allowing you to create many things with different items to imitate them well.

How ever with Minecraft Paintings you have a specifically made decoration that comes with different selections ready to place. Not only do they have a different selection of paintings available but also different sizes of paintings for different sized buildings.

So enough about this awesome item lets get into how to find the items, and how to make a painting in Minecraft.

Items Needed to Make a Painting In Minecraft

First things first and as with almost everything in Minecraft it involves collecting some items to craft the painting. The items to make a painting are actually really easy to obtain so you can be creating awesome home decorations for your Minecraft house in no time.

• 8 Sticks
• 1 Wool
• 1 Crafting Table

Where to Find Items to Make a Painting in Minecraft

Sticks

Lets get started with the Sticks first. There are a few ways to collect or craft sticks. First of all you have a chance of getting sticks by breaking leaves from a tree. (With out shears) Another way is to break down the tree and use the wood collected to craft sticks using a crafting table.

Wool

For wool there is only one source and that will be sheep. Sheep although easy to find, can sometimes prove impossible to find when you actually need them.

You may also require shears to shear the wool from the sheep. This is optional as you can also kill the sheep and still have a good chance of it dropping the wool as an item.

The spawn in grassy Biomes at the surface level, usually in a group of 2-3. They require 2 blocks of space above them and also a light source of around 7 and higher. So by heading to grassy areas with lots of space, it will increase your chances of finding a sheep by quite a lot.

They Dont spawn in to Snowy Tundra Biomes or Wooden Badlands Plateau. So dont waste your time looking here.

How to Make a Painting In Minecraft

Now that we have all our items its time to Make a Painting. First of all place your crafting table down so we can start adding the items.

You want to fill all the surrounding boxes in the crafting table with the 8 sticks leaving one space in the middle for the wool.

Now add in the wool you collected from the sheep to the crafting table in the middle slot to craft the Minecraft painting. You will now be able to collect the painting and place it in your inventory.

How to Place and Pick Up Paintings

To place a painting simply right click (use the action button) on a wall you want to place it on. The paintings have a varied selection and it will randomly choose a painting to fill in.

The paintings are also space dependant meaning if you have a small 4 block wall. It will create a painting of that size. And if you have a huge wall it will try to find a painting to match the size. It doesnt always match but it tries to fill the place as best it can.

To remove a painting simply break it with any item in your hand and you can collect it and put it up anywhere else.

How to Create Secret Doors With Paintings

One fun thing you can do with paintings is create secret doors that look like a wall. This is done as paintings are entities that you can run through. Meaning they wont block you by passing through them.

Using this method you can make a painting in Minecraft for a large wall and then take out 2 of the blocks behind it to create a secret passageway. This way everyone will think its just a nice decoration of your house, but you now have a secret bunker in your Minecraft house that other people may not know about. Especially when playing on a realm or Minecraft server.

Carved Pumpkins can also be made into funny pranks for friends or to save you from Endermen in the end. As we all know how hard it can be to fight the dragon with them pesky Endermen spawning in on you.

We will start of on how and where to find Minecraft Pumpkins, how to create shears to carve them and finally how to carve a pumpkin. Then, we have all the other fun things we can do with them after you have carved one yourself.

Where to Find Pumpkins in Minecraft

So pumpkins spawn generally in any overworld biome providing they have grass and at least 1 block of air above them. Each chunk has a 1/32 chance of spawning a pumpkin patch making them rarer than diamonds in some cases.

There are some areas that have a bigger chance that you will find them as they naturally generate there, places you can find pumpkins more frequently are:

• Woodland Mansion Farm Rooms
• Woollen Tends in Pillager Outposts
• Taigas and Snowy Taiga Villages

The fastest way to farm pumpkins is normally by axe. And you might even be lucky enough to find a carved pumpkin in a pillager outpost in the form of a scarecrow.

How to Make Shears to Carve a Pumpkin in Minecraft

Once you have collected your pumpkins its time to create a carved pumpkin. But first we need to get some shears as this is needed to carve the pumpkin.

Its time to get your mining boots out and find some iron! But dont worry only 2 raw iron will be needed. When you do get your two pieces of iron, just add it to your furnace along with some fuel. and get your 2 iron ingots.

Now head over to your crafting table and add the two iron ingots like the picture below. Now you have yourself some shears to carve your pumpkin. And if you have never uses shears before you will be glad to know you can now also collect other items like leaves from trees and other naturally generated blocks with out breaking them.

How to Carve a Pumpkin in Minecraft

Now we have everything ready we can finally crave our pumpkin. So place down your Pumpkin, collect your shears and simple right click (if on pc) on the pumpkin to crave it.

If you using another device like mobile, switch, PlayStation or Xbox. It will be your action button rather than your break button. The one that craves trees or you use to interact with buttons.

Once sheared you can now break the block and you will have a craved pumpkin to use.

Wearable and Pranks

A great way to have fun with pumpkins is putting them on a friends head as it gives them the sight of the craved pumpkin. How ever it doesnt just end there. You can use this to make you invulnerable to Endermen as they can no longer see you or attack you if you have this carved pumpkin on your head.

So a great tip if your taking down the dragon is to have carved pumpkin on you to stop the pesky Endermen attacking you whilst your fighting the dragon which is hard enough.

Pranking

Looking to prank a friend? Did you know that you can add curse of binding to a craved pumpkin? Thats correct, get yourself carved pumpkin, get yourself an enchanted book with curse of binding. Add the two together using an anvil and the next person to wear this will not be able to remove it from their head. Excellent fun.

Creating Iron Golems with Carved Pumpkins

Now lets go through some of the other fun features a carved pumpkin has. First lets create an iron golem. These friendly giants like to protect villagers with their lives. They are friendly to players too unless you hurt on of his/hers beloved villagers.

If this happens they eyes will go red and its time to run unless you want to get pinged into the air, followed shortly by a Minecraft death.

Its fairly simple to create but it does require 3 Iron Blocks and 1 Carved Pumpkin. Simple place the iron blocks in a T formation. So 2 blocks up and one on either side of the top block.

Once you have your T shape its time to add the carved pumpkin on the top middle of the T shape as a head and an iron golem will now appear.

Creating Snow Golems with Carved Pumpkins

Another great entity you can create in game with out being in creative mode is a Snow Golem. Now you have learned how to carve a pumpkin in Minecraft its time to start using it where ever possible.

To create a Snow Golem simply collect 2 Snow Blocks and 1 Carved Pumpkin.

Now to collect snow you will need an enchanted silk touch shovel. If you dont have this simply break the snow with a regular shovel and create a snow block using 4 snow balls that you collect from the original broken snow block.

Once you have obtained or crafted the items its time to create a 2 block high shape with the 2 snow blocks. So two blocks straight up. Then put the Carved Pumpkin on top and it will instantly turn into a Snow Golem. Just be aware it will leave an ice trail behind it when moving.

Making a Jack O Lantern With a Carved Pumpkin

How to Grow Pumpkins

With every great farmer comes the need for more produce. So lets find out how to grow more pumpkin by creating seeds and farming them.

First you will need a pumpkin and a normal wheat seed. You can now combine both the pumpkin and seed to create a pumpkin seed. Now to farm simply hoe your land within 4 spaces of a water block. Place your pumpkin seed and leave one space free either side of the plant for the pumpkin to grow as it grows next to the plant.

Introduction to Using Plugins for Bedrock Servers

So let me start first by explaining the process so your comfortable with the way it will all work. We will also list below anything you require to do this before you get started.

Firstly when I say a Bedrock server this is only partly true. The way we will be doing this is by creating a Java Edition server, using 2 plugins to make it completely usable with a Bedrock clients and then using the server as a Bedrock server.

You don’t need a Java account for this this and in my video thats coming out shortly you will see that i never once use a Java account for this. To get to see the video as soon as it comes out make sure to head over to my YouTube Channel and sub to keep up to date with my latest videos. And shortly afterword you can find it in the tutorial section of this site.

To get started we will be using EssentialsX on our server and going through some commands in Bedrock you can use to for your server. This is because it is one of the best plugins for server management. It also has tp home, set home, currency and so much more. And after much testing they almost all work on Bedrock clients also. Not only this it is also very compatible with most Minecraft Minigame Plugins.

We have tested this one 1.17 the current latest version.

Requirements For Bedrock Plugins

• A Minecraft server you can switch to Java edition (preferably Spigot or Paper)
• A Bedrock Edition Account (Windows 10)

Plugins Needed

• Geyser
• Floodgate
• EssentialsX
• Vault

Creating a Cross Platform Server for Both Java and Bedrock

First things first we need to make this server allow you to join on and play as a Bedrock player. If you have never done this before we suggest reading this article or watching the video below.

It is a simple process of adding the plugins to server and changing some important configuration (about 4 words) which will then allow you to connect with Bedrock edition, not needing a Java edition at all.

Adding the Plugins for Bedrock  

Now that you have installed the plugins correctly and your server is able to connect with Bedrock and Java clients you will notice your able to do commands just like a Java Player can once “op’ed”.

To do this at this point simply head back to your Multicraft dashboard (or wherever your hosting your server) and type into the console, op followed by your user name. For example op Jdog131 to op a player called Jdog131.

Now your able to use any command that a Java player can with plugins. Awesome right?

So now its time to turn your server off for the final part of this tutorial.

Once turned off, download the Essentialsx plugin and also the Vault. For those of you not familiar with Java plugins, Essentialsx has over 130 custom commands ranging from TPA, setting your home base, creating a kitty cannon, using currency, paying players, selling to server and much more. Vault is an economy hook to use along with essentials to make sure the currency side it running smoothly.

Step by Step Guide of Installing the Plugins

1. Start of by turning your server OFF before uploading any files.

2. Download the EssentialsX and Vault Plugin. Keep them somewhere you can easily access them like a plugins folder or wherever you will remember.

3. Now make sure your server jar is either Java spigot or paper 1.17 or the current updated version. On a side note make sure that the version of geyser and floodgate are also compatible with the jar version you are using. Meaning that if the latest version is 1.18 when you read this, then find the 1.18 version of geyser and floodgate.

You can check this on the main GeyserMC website.

4. We recommend deleting old server files if you are changing from a Bedrock server. Make a back up of your worlds that you want to keep and go to Files > FTP file access > Login. Once logged in select the All button and then Delete.
If your are using another Java version we also suggest deleting the files to start fresh with the newest version jar, it will load up all the files you need once you start the server with the jar you have chosen.

5. Now Start your server and once started, fully Stop it again. This will bring up all the files you need to upload your plugins.

6. Last step to getting your plugins uploaded to your server. To do this go to Files > FTP File Access > Login
From here you will see a directory called Plugins.

7. Once on that directory select upload on the left hand side and find use this to upload the plugins. We recommend doing them one by one but you can also select multiple.

8. Once you submit the plugins and they have been uploaded, you can start your server back up and your ready to go!

How Do Plugins Work With Bedrock

So now that we have configured the server and we have our plugins on our Bedrock server. Or technically our Java server used for Bedrock clients, your able to start playing around with some plugins on Bedrock edition.

The beauty of this, is that its actually been do able for some time as geyser and floodgate have been used quite successfully for a while. I’m actually surprised this hasn’t been mentioned yet as me and my friend used to build server with him on bedrock and me on java both using commands for plugins.

I haven’t tested all the plugins yet but i’ve tested this with 1.16.5 minigame plugins, economy plugins and many more and almost all worked on bedrock clients.

Basically the whole premise of this working is that you are using a Java server disguised as a Bedrock server. There for allowing bedrock players, once op’ed to do all the commands that Java players can.

Not only this but because you have total control from the server console and files for config you simply don’t need a Java account at all to achieve this. I have a video coming out shortly and you will see i complete the entire process of uploading these plugins and then using them with a Bedrock account.

You can use this server exactly like a Java server but have you and your friends on bedrock connect any have all the options that java has. Some awesome plugins examples are

• Land Claiming plugins
• Pets plugins
• Word editor plugins
• Permissions plugins
• Anti cheat plugins
• Shop plugins

Main Commands You Will Need With EssentialsX.

• /sethome To set your home location.
• /home Travel to your home location.
• /tpa (playername) Request to tp to another player.
• /pay (playername) (amount) Pay an amount to a player.
• /sell hand Sell the item in your hand.
• /setworth (amount) Whilst holding an item you can set its worth for selling to the server.
• /gmc, gms, gmsp, gma Shortened commands for /gamemode creative/survival/spectator/adventure.
• /setwarp (warpname) Set a warp location for players to teleport too.
• /warps Show list of warps
• /warp (warpname) To teleport to a warm location.

How to Choose what Commands Players Can Use

This is with a permission plugin. It will enable you to add groups and then give groups of players the ability to use some commands like /tpa, /tpa accept and so on.

I recommend Luckperms as it works well with essentialsx and most other minigame plugins. The video below will show you how to install and use Luckperms on your server. It was filmed in Java but your able to do exactly the same i bedrock edition once geyser and floodgate have successfully been installed.
